👨💻 The Opportunity
The team is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer to help accelerate product development and scale the platform. This is a high-impact role with broad ownership, focused on building user-facing features, improving performance, and contributing to technical strategy at an early stage.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and implement responsive, performant user interfaces using React.js and TypeScript.
Work closely with design and product stakeholders to define and deliver key features.
Architect scalable frontend systems that support long-term growth.
Improve usability and speed across the application through thoughtful UI/UX decisions.
Help shape the technical roadmap and contribute to the team’s engineering culture.
Apply AI-driven approaches to streamline permitting workflows and automate manual tasks.
Ideal Candidate Will Have:
7+ years of experience working with modern frontend technologies, especially React.js.
Strong architectural skills and a track record of building maintainable systems.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally.
A user-first mindset and attention to detail in UI/UX.
Comfort working in fast-paced, ambiguous environments with evolving requirements.
Interest in learning and applying AI technologies to real-world problems.
Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, with availability to work in-office 4 days per week.
